Wet feces, food passage, early lesions caused by coccidia, damage to pigmentation, and regular intestinal condition are more common findings than we think in intensive production, representing economic losses and deterioration of the final product. Many factors influence these problems, such as nutritional quality, management conditions, and sanitary status, making them difficult to control 100%.
In this case, with the addition of natural solutions from our intestinal integrity line in the yellow chicken diet, we achieved savings of 22.4 pesos per kg of feed, for a total of 91,381,427 below the cost in chickens that consumed the additive during the cycle.
Additionally, we observed a significant improvement between 4 and 5 deltas in the measurement of pigment in standing chicken compared to the initial situation, representing fewer complaints from the plant and the commercial department, reducing losses due to non-pigmented chicken; assuming a 10% improvement (300000) in the number of processed channels, we obtained savings of 75,000,000 in pigment cost (250 pesos/bird).
By improving the intestinal condition and state of the beds, we managed to reduce by 50% the cases of plantar cushion injury that are finally reflected in the personnel that must be allocated to the cleaning of the legs with an approximate saving of 6,000,000/month.
The supply of eubiotics in the feed allows a modulating effect of the factors that make up intestinal integrity, improving digestion and absorption and, consequently, better quality in the pigment and a decrease in breast and plantar cushion lesions.
Consumers are increasingly demanding with the presentation and quality of products, generating concern in the search for healthier production alternatives.
