Technical Update for a More Efficient, Profitable, and Sustainable Poultry Industry
On Tuesday, June 17, in Guatemala City, Promitec successfully held its Second Poultry Seminar, a technical forum aimed at producers, veterinarians, and partners of the national poultry sector, focused on scientific updates and the exchange of solutions for a more efficient, profitable, and sustainable poultry industry.

This space was designed to provide practical tools, based on scientific evidence, to support strategic decision-making in the field, with the goal of moving toward a more efficient, profitable, and sustainability-driven poultry industry.

Specialized Technical Content
During the event, national and international experts addressed key topics such as the immunological impact of viruses and mycotoxins on production, strategies with prebiotics and phytobiotics to reduce antibiotic use, advances in functional nutrition, and the role of manufacturing in poultry performance.
Relevant diseases such as inclusion body hepatitis and Salmonella Gallinarum were also discussed, along with approaches to biotechnological additives and gut digestibility.

We would like to extend our special thanks to Sertagri, our authorized distributor in Guatemala, for its valuable support in organizing and carrying out this seminar.
