
Promitec stood out in the presentation of its research papers at the IPSF International Poultry Scientific Forum in Atlanta 2021.

The innovation team of Promitec Santander S.A.S presented the poster at the IPSF in Atlanta of the research “Use of essential oil mixture with sodium humates as intestinal integrity modulators in broilers challenged with the coccidia vaccine” *, one of the three research papers that were presented at the past IPSF in Atlanta.
The second work exhibited “Evaluation of essential oil products on a heat stress model that induces inflammation, intestinal permeability in broilers” was presented orally by Jared Ruff, one of the members of the research group at the University of Arkansas who worked in conjunction with the Promitec innovation team. This work received recognition through social media on Instagram from @PoultryScience.

The third paper presented was “Evaluation of essential oil formulations on performance, intestinal barrier integrity and lesions in broiler chickens using a laboratory challenge model of necrotic enteritis”; it presented results suggesting an increase in intestinal barrier integrity and mitigation of the impacts caused by necrotic enteritis thanks to the inclusion of Essential Oils in the diet.
These works are currently in the process of being published in a high-impact scientific journal and their content is part of Promitec’s contribution to the generation of knowledge for the future of the Poultry industry.
