In an important company in the egg sector with a 100% raising-production system in automatic henhouse batteries, a control and monitoring program for Eimeria sp is implemented, since it is a factor that caused intestinal affectation in batches between week 18-20 of age. Two batches were evaluated; control and treatment (NatBio addition), the result of the program was a 40% control of the Oocyst load in feces and the absence of intestinal signs compatible with Eimeria sp in the treatment batch with respect to the control, in the control batch the intestinal problems occurred at 20 weeks of age at which time the same treatment is dosed; an 80.5% control of the Oocyst load is achieved and no intestinal signs are evident after supplementation.<\/p>\n

A monitoring and control program for Eimeria sp was established in a leading egg production company in western Colombia, where laying hens housed in automatic henhouse batteries after being transferred from raising to production showed typical signs of intestinal lesions caused by Eimeria sp. between week 18-20 of age. A weekly follow-up was carried out by counting Oocysts in feces, and two batches were evaluated; control (Conventional Diet) and treatment (Conventional Diet + NatBio Addition from week 15 of age).<\/p>\n

As a result, a 40% control of the Oocyst load in feces was obtained in the treatment batch with respect to the control, in addition to the fact that no signs of intestinal affectations were evidenced in the treated batch, at week 20 of age of the control batch signs compatible with coccidia are evidenced (Detachment of Mucosa and Feces with bloody discharge) to which the Technical Director of the client company decides to carry out the same treatment with NatBio to this batch; at the next count (1 week later) a control over the population of Oocysts of 80.5% is achieved and the incidence of intestinal signs was not evidenced.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
